The challenge

Where off-the-shelf retail tools start to hurt

Stock that never quite matches realityYour online store, your shop floor, and your back office all show different numbers. Oversells, surprise stockouts, and manual counts eat the time you should spend selling.
A patchwork of tools that do not talkTill, website, accounting, loyalty, and supplier orders each live in their own silo. Someone re-keys the same data every day, and the gaps hide errors.
Tills that die when the internet doesCloud-only point of sale means a dropped connection stops trade. At busy times or in poor coverage, you need a till that keeps ringing sales no matter what.
Per-seat fees that punish you for growingMore outlets, more staff, and more channels mean ever-rising subscription bills for software you have outgrown but cannot bend to fit.
What we build

What we build for retailers and online stores

Desktop

Offline-first desktop point of sale

A native till (.exe) that keeps taking payments and printing receipts even with no connection, then syncs sales, refunds, and stock the moment it comes back online.

Cloud

Unified inventory and order hub

One cloud system that keeps stock, pricing, and orders in step across your shop floor, website, and marketplaces, with low-stock alerts and full audit trails.

AI-powered

AI recommendations and demand forecasting

Models that suggest relevant products to shoppers and predict what to reorder and when, so you carry less dead stock and miss fewer sales.

Mobile

Loyalty and clienteling app for staff and shoppers

A mobile app for points, rewards, and customer history, so associates can look up a shopper, tailor offers, and check stock from anywhere in the store.

Automation

Automated reordering and supplier workflows

Rules that raise purchase orders, chase suppliers, reconcile deliveries, and update stock automatically, replacing spreadsheets and repetitive back-office admin.

Cloud

Custom online storefront and checkout

A fast, branded store built to your catalogue and fulfilment rules, wired straight into the same inventory and orders as your physical outlets.

The tech behind it

The kinds of software we bring to this

Example project

A multi-outlet retailer with a growing online store

A representative build. Every project is bespoke, so details vary.

Problem
A retailer running several shops and a website was juggling separate tills, a disconnected online catalogue, and manual stock counts. Staff oversold popular lines, reordering was guesswork, and a flaky connection at one outlet regularly halted sales.
Build
We built an offline-first desktop till for every outlet, backed by a single cloud inventory and order hub that the website and shops share. Reordering was automated with supplier rules, and an AI layer added product recommendations online and demand forecasts for buyers.
Outcome
Stock figures now match across every channel, tills keep working through connection drops, and buyers reorder with far less guesswork. Staff spend less time on manual admin and counts, and shoppers see fewer out-of-stock surprises.

Peace of mind

Your sales, stock, and customer data stay yours

You own the software and the data it holds, with no per-seat lock-in. Card payments run through established, compliant providers, so sensitive details never sit in systems we build. We can host in the cloud, on your own servers, or run key parts offline on the shop floor, and we hand over clean documentation so you are never dependent on a single vendor.

You own everything

Full source code and intellectual property are handed to you, with no lock-in. Scope and price are agreed in writing before we start, and you work directly with the engineers building your product.

Questions

Common questions

Can it work with the payment terminals and hardware we already have?
Usually, yes. We build to the receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and card terminals you already use, and we integrate with established payment providers rather than replacing your setup wholesale. Where hardware is dated, we will tell you plainly what is worth keeping.
What happens to sales if our internet goes down?
An offline-first desktop till keeps ringing sales, taking payments, and printing receipts with no connection. Every transaction is stored locally and syncs automatically to your central system the moment the connection returns, so nothing is lost and nothing stops.
Is custom software worth it versus a monthly subscription platform?
It depends on your scale and how far you have outgrown off-the-shelf tools. Custom software has a higher upfront cost, but you own it, avoid rising per-seat fees, and get a system shaped to your margins and workflows. We usually start with the part that hurts most and connect it to what you already run, so you are never forced into a risky big-bang switch.
