AI-powered apps built for the work you actually do

We build custom AI features into software your team uses every day: assistants that answer from your own documents, tools that read and sort incoming paperwork, search that understands what people mean, and models that forecast, classify, and take the grind out of judgement-heavy tasks. The point is not the technology. The point is the hours it gives back and the decisions it makes easier.

Overview

Task-focused AI, not a science project

An AI-powered app is ordinary software with a model doing a specific job inside it: reading a document, drafting a reply, ranking a list, spotting an outlier, answering a question from your own records. It fits when you have a task that eats staff time, depends on knowledge buried in files or systems, or asks people to make the same kind of call over and over. We start from that task, choose the simplest approach that does it reliably, and keep a person in the loop wherever the stakes deserve one.

Capabilities

What we build with AI

Assistants and chatbots

Conversational tools that answer from your own policies, records, and documentation instead of guessing. They handle routine questions, draft replies for review, and hand off to a person when the request needs one, so your team spends less time on repetitive back and forth.

Document and data processing

Software that reads invoices, forms, contracts, emails, and reports, then pulls out the fields you care about and routes them where they belong. It turns stacks of unstructured paperwork into clean, structured data with far less manual keying and checking.

Search over your own content

Ask a question in plain language and get an answer drawn from your files, wikis, tickets, and databases, with links back to the source. Staff stop hunting through folders and shared drives, and knowledge that used to live in a few people's heads becomes available to everyone.

Forecasting and classification

Models that predict demand, flag likely no-shows, estimate timelines, score risk, or sort incoming items into the right category. They give your team a useful starting point for planning and triage instead of a blank page and a gut feel.

Automation of judgement-heavy tasks

For work that is too nuanced for simple rules, we build assistants that draft, summarise, compare, and recommend, then surface their reasoning for a person to confirm. You keep control of the final call while shedding the slow first pass.

Grounded, checkable answers

We connect models to your actual data and cite where each answer came from, so outputs can be verified rather than trusted blindly. Guardrails, review steps, and clear limits keep the system honest and safe to rely on.

Example project

A claims intake assistant for an insurance team

A representative build. Every project is bespoke, so details vary.

Problem
A mid-sized insurer received claims by email and web form with documents attached in every format imaginable. Staff opened each one, read it, keyed the details into the core system, judged how urgent it was, and routed it to the right handler. It was slow, it varied person to person, and a backlog built up whenever volume spiked.
Build
We built a web app that reads each incoming claim and its attachments, extracts the key fields, and drafts a structured summary with a suggested category and priority. Every suggestion is grounded in the source document and shown with links back to it, so a handler can confirm or correct in a few clicks. The model never files a claim on its own: it prepares the work and a person approves it. Uncertain or high-value cases are flagged for closer review rather than pushed through.
Outcome
Handlers moved from typing and sorting to checking and deciding. Routine claims were prepared in a fraction of the time, the backlog during busy periods shrank, and routing became more consistent because every claim was assessed the same way before a human made the final call.

Where it fits

Where AI-powered apps earn their keep

HealthcareAn assistant that answers staff questions from clinical policies and drafts appointment reminders, plus a model that flags patients likely to miss visits so the front desk can follow up. The result is less manual admin and fewer empty slots.
RetailDemand forecasting that helps buyers plan stock by product and location, alongside a support assistant that answers order and returns questions from your own policies. Staff spend less time on repeat queries and guesswork around ordering.
Real estateA tool that reads leases, offers, and survey reports to pull out key terms and dates, plus natural language search across your property records. Agents find the right listing and the right clause in seconds instead of scrolling through files.
LogisticsSoftware that reads shipping documents and delivery notes, matches them against orders, and flags mismatches for review, with delay prediction that lets planners reroute early. Less manual data entry and fewer surprises down the line.
Professional servicesSearch and summarisation across contracts, case files, and past work so staff can answer client questions and reuse prior material quickly. Draft responses and first-pass reviews come back for a professional to check, not to send blindly.
EducationAn assistant that answers student and staff questions from course handbooks and admin policies, and classification that routes incoming enquiries to the right department. Administrators handle fewer repetitive emails and route the rest faster.

Questions

Common questions

Is this just a chatbot bolted onto our website?
Only if that is genuinely what you need. More often the AI sits inside a larger custom app and does a specific job: reading documents, ranking a queue, drafting a reply, answering from your records. We pick the approach that fits the task rather than fitting your task to a chatbot.
Will it make things up?
That is the risk we design against. We ground answers in your own data, show where each one came from, and add review steps so outputs can be checked rather than trusted blindly. For anything consequential we keep a person in the loop to confirm the final decision.
What about our data and privacy?
Your data stays yours. We design around your security and confidentiality requirements, keep sensitive information within boundaries you approve, and can build so that private content is never exposed to third parties beyond what you agree to. We talk through exactly how and where data is handled before we build.

Have a task in mind that AI could take off your team's plate?

Tell us about the work that eats the most time or depends on knowledge locked in your files and systems. We will tell you honestly whether AI is the right tool, sketch a practical approach, and show you what a first version could do. No jargon, no hype, just a clear look at what is possible.
